CO-BA was born in Tokyo.

All products are also made in Tokyo.

The factory (Koba) in Ota Ward began at the end of the 19th century.

There is a record that it was 1894.

The first generation who came to Tokyo from Niigata Prefecture, made bags and started business

Then people imported a leather-making machine from Germany and started using it.

1917, right after World War I.

Shortly after that, Predecessor started making leather bags under the name "Ito Bag".

Since then, continued business overcoming World War II

At this Ito bag factory,

Many craftsmen learned and mastered making bags techniques,

And pass it on to the next generation of craftsmen ...

We have repeated such a history.

The German machines that the first generation introduced over 100 years ago are still in operation.

We have inherited the technique and spirit of Ito bag's careful product making.

Today's craftsmen are the 4th generation of this factory.

CO-BA products start after customer made an order.

After confirming one customer's order

Select leather, cut it, and sew it.

And one craftsman is in charge of all the processes up to the final finishing needle.
